The Trust for Credit Unions (TCU) is the first and largest mutual fund family designed specifically for credit unions. TCU has provided solid investment performance to hundreds of credit unions and offers three distinct investment options to help your credit union stay competitive in this changing marketplace.

The TCU Money Market Portfolio (MMP) is a portfolio of high quality money market instruments designed for overnight or short-term investment needs. The MMP seeks to provide maximum current income while preserving capital and maintaining liquidity.

The TCU Ultra-Short Duration Government Portfolio is an ultra-short duration portfolio consisting primarily of U.S. government agency securities. The Portfolio seeks to achieve a high level of current income consistent with low volatility of principal.

The TCU Short Duration Portfolio is designed to achieve high current income from investments in mortgage-backed securities. This portfolio seeks to provide the investment characteristics and returns associated with a longer duration security, while providing the liquidity and flexibility of a mutual fund.

The TCU Portfolios offer many benefits when compared to direct investments in the underlying securities. These benefits include:

  • Professional investment management by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, L.P.
  • Quality investments
  • A diversified portfolio
  • No wire/transaction fees and no set-up fees
  • Same-day or next-day liquidity
  • No withdrawal limits or minimum balances

An investment in the TCU MMP is not insured or guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other government agency. Although the Portfolio seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 per unit, it is possible to lose money by investing in the Portfolio.

Units of the portfolios are not endorsed by, insured by, obligations of, or otherwise supported by the U.S. government, the NCUSIF, the NCUA or any other governmental agency. An investment in the portfolios involves risk including possible loss of principal.
